Lazy days of summer are coming

Togo is starting to get adjusted to the hot and humid weather again. Slowly. He gets tired and hot on the walks that we have now postponed until later in the evening to accommodate him. He still gets really hot and wants to lie down in the middle of the road when you stop even for a minute. He loves his walks though, he is always a willing partner to go - we have done couple of longer walks (about 7 miles) with him in little bit cooler weather and he did fine. First time he needed some coaxing at 6.5 mile marker and second time he was sloshing through mud and water puddles (though at that time he was following my son's great example in playing in mud puddles).

Togo's weight have settled in 125 lbs , give or take a two depending on the week. He has calmed down considerably but still has some problems controlling his urges - especially attacking and destroying pillows lately. He went on a killing spree of four pillows and as a result is now confined
to the basement when he is in the house alone. He seems to be happy with his confinement though and there is now evil pillows mouthing off to him down there.
